Chicago public library website management

Chicago Public Library, in 2009, was still the largest public library in the world.   During a hiring freeze in the Chicago city government in 2009, the webmaster on staff went on maternity leave and then took a “buy-out” from the city.  Then, there was no website manager.  The nonprofit organization, Chicago Library Foundation funded the position.  This position was temporary and went through Clarity Consulting where I worked full-time for the Chicago Public Library as their webmaster and website project manager.

This work included managing the CPL content management system, updates, dynamic content, and served as Millennium Park digital collections project manager.
